Job summary

IAT Insurance Group in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Senior Manager, Claims Services for Large Loss/Major Case Property to lead the property claims teams and drive operational excellence in a hybrid office setting.

This role requires 8+ years of property claims experience, 3+ years of leadership, and an active insurance license; travel less than 25% and collaboration with senior leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant Commercial/Homeowners Property claims experience or equivalent.
• Equivalent is defined as 9 years of related experience, including the 8 years of Property claims experience mentioned above.
• 3+ years of Management/Leadership experience.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain, within 3 months, applicable Insurance License(s).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate internally and externally.
• Excellent Microsoft office skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Large Loss/Major Case Property claims teams to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide ongoing training, mentoring, coaching and guidance to staff.
• Ensure that any investigation/settlement/reserve/coverage matters are appropriately managed.
• Establish and maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders.
• Work with the AVP of Property on various matters as needed.
• Travel as required for business purposes, less than 25%.
• Perform other duties as needed.

IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Manager, Claims Services (Large Loss/Major Case Claims- Property) from one of our office locations listed below:

• Scottsdale, Arizona
• Cheshire, Connecticut
• Sarasota, Florida
• Alpharetta, Geogia
• Naperville, Illinois
• Raleigh, North Carolina
• Norristown, Pennsylvania
• Plano, Texas
• Viriginia Beach, Virginia

This role works a hybrid schedule that requires working from the office Monday through Wednesday, with the option of working Thursday and Friday remotely.

While we prefer candidates to work from one of our listed IAT office locations, we're open to considering fully remote arrangements for the ideal candidate.

  Compensation

  Please note, that the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $82,960 - $180,450. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this specific role. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more.
