Qualifikationen

• Deep technical knowledge of GAAP with emphasis on not-for-profit accounting standards (ASC 958, ASC 820) and fund accounting.
• Experience with Forms 990, 990-PF, 990-T and related schedules; IRC §4958, UBIT rules, public support tests, and grant compliance.
• Leadership experience supervising and developing team; ability to manage multiple priorities and work with auditors/tax preparers.

• Serve as primary technical accounting authority for not-for-profit entities; research, analyze, and document complex accounting issues.
• Communicate financial results and regulatory status to executives; prepare board and program-level reports.
• Own design and maintenance of fund accounting structure; ensure ASC 958 compliance and proper revenue recognition.
• Lead regulatory and tax compliance for charitable entities, including Form 990 series, state registrations, and gift acknowledgment compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop team; oversee month-end close and entity-level consolidation where applicable.
• Prepare financial statements for MTC and affiliated entities in accordance with GAAP and ASC 958; provide budget-to-actual analyses.
