Job summary

ProFrac Services seeks a Senior Manager of Category Management to lead procurement category strategy, drive cost savings, and supervise a team of category managers in support of operational excellence.

You will partner with senior leadership to align sourcing with business goals, manage supplier performance, and deliver measurable value across the organization in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and analytic skills are required to optimize contracts and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA preferred for senior leadership.
• 10+ years in procurement or category management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.

Responsibilities

• Lead category management team to align with procurement strategy and company goals.
• Develop and implement category management processes to improve sourcing and cost savings.
• Create and enforce procurement policies for consistency and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify needs and procurement opportunities.
• Manage supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and contracts.
• Identify market trends and opportunities to drive procurement improvements.
• Track and report procurement performance and savings to leadership.
• Provide insights to executive leadership on sourcing decisions.
• Mentor category management team to foster collaboration and accountability.
