  • Serve as the category expert by leveraging consumer, shopper, retailer, syndicated, and competitive insights to identify growth drivers and emerging trends.
  • Build category visions, narratives, and playbooks that support retail growth and inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead category reviews and create compelling, insight-led presentations that influence retailer decisions and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Develop customer-specific category recommendations that align with retailer growth objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships with Sales teams and retail category managers to support joint business planning and category leadership opportunities.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities, assortment optimization priorities, and portfolio growth opportunities.
  • Translate syndicated data, retailer-specific information, and shopper research into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and execute Baby category strategies across Product, Price, Place, and Promotion.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing on portfolio architecture, assortment strategy, innovation development, and customer needs.
  • Work with Strategic Revenue Management to evaluate pricing opportunities, competitive positioning, price-pack architecture, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Define distribution and shelving strategies across channels and customers while identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Recommend customer activation strategies aligned with category objectives and growth priorities.
  • Serve as the commercial and sales voice throughout the innovation commercialization process.
  • Develop commercialization strategies, launch plans, distribution targets, and retail sell-in approaches for new products.
  • Collaborate with Customer Planning to align commercialization plans with customer strategies and forecasts.
  • Monitor post-launch performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and capture learnings to strengthen future innovation launches.
  • Share commercialization insights and best practices across the organization.
