Job summary

MG Resorts International in Las Vegas area is seeking a Senior Manager to lead finance Shared Services. The role focuses on resource planning, training, process improvement, and ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting across multiple properties.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 2+ years of supervisory experience, and strong proficiency in Oracle, Coupa, OnBase, and MS Office. MGM promotes development and strong performance through a goal-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• 2+ years of supervision or related leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Advanced PC software skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access or equivalent.
• Experience with MGM Resorts financial systems and tech stack is preferred (examples: Oracle, Coupa, OnBase).

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize resources; oversee routine and scheduled functions.
• Train team members and ensure proper review of work products.
• Communicate changes, issues, and status to affected parties.
• Develop and implement standardized finance processes across Shared Services.
• Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives within the team.
• Oversee journal entries and ensure accrual-based accounting accuracy.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and risk controls; coordinate audits as needed.
