Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Nevada seeks a Process Specialist to support cross-functional business processes with data entry, analytics, and system proficiency. The role emphasizes collaboration to implement and maintain solutions within Finance Shared Services.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, 1+ year experience, and preferably a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management, with LEAN and software proficiency as assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Business Management preferred.
• 1+ year experience in shared services or process improvement preferred.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Bilingual, English primary/secondary language preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe software.
• Experience in a resort gaming setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily departmental tasks; audit daily work for integrity and resolve discrepancies.
• Support and maintain effective communication with internal customers (units, operations, CFOs) ensuring requirements are met.
• Participate in project development, design, and measurement; ensure analytics and control activities are effective.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service quality with senior management in Finance Shared Services.
• Participate in LEAN training and propose improvements.
• Support company strategies and departmental performance targets.
• Adhere to policies to ensure successful audits (internal and external).
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and communicate them.
• Demonstrate proficiency in systems used in job functions.
