Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks a senior leader to oversee the Cancer Center Supportive Care and Integrative Oncology (SCIO) department's support services. You will manage teams of social workers, dietitians, and licensed counselors, shaping policies and programs that impact patient care across the Simmons Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare.
• At least 6 years of related experience in the management of allied health functions in a clinical setting.
• Licensure as applicable (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LPC) upon hire.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the SCC support services team, including social workers, program coordinators, dietitians, counselors, and others across Simmons Cancer Center.
• Develops policies, procedures and continuous performance improvement activities; coordinates with leadership and community resources.
• Manages budgets and cost centers; ensures resources are utilized efficiently.
• May contribute as an individual contributor in professional area if needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
