Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a seasoned leader to manage the Cancer Center Supportive Care and Integrative Oncology (SCIO) Department's SCC support services team, including social workers, program coordinators, music therapists, dietitians and counselors.

You will partner with clinical leaders to develop policies, improve performance, oversee budget and operations, recruit and train staff, and ensure patients and families access comprehensive psychosocial and nutritional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare required.
• Minimum 6 years in allied health management in a clinical setting.
• Must meet licensure/educational requirements (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, LPC).

Responsibilities

• Oversees SCC support services team across locations; recruits, orients, evaluates staff.
• Collaborates with SCC leaders and physicians to develop policies and improve performance.
• Leads training programs for social work and support staff.
• Establishes relationships with internal/external leaders and community organizations.
• Manages department budget and fiscal operations for cost efficiency.
• May participate as an individual contributor in professional areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
