Senior Manager, Business Operations

Job Summary

Future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love for you to be a part of it as our Senior Manager, Business Operations. As Senior Manager, Business Operations, you will be a key leader responsible for the success and scaling of the Business Operations function. Reporting to the Head of Business Operations and Partnerships, you will sit at the intersection of high‑level strategy and rigorous execution, equally comfortable developing a recommendation for leadership and rolling up your sleeves to make it happen. You will be expected to own outcomes, not just drive process. Porch Consumer Services is a division of Porch that helps people navigate one of life’s most complex transitions, moving and settling into a new home. We have built the platform that can serve them across the full journey, including the move, setting up and protecting their home, and everything in between. You will define our strategic direction and shape how we prioritize across the division, developing the insights and frameworks that drive our annual planning and inform key trade‑offs. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of our most critical initiatives, from defining strategy through execution and performance monitoring. As our division evolves, you’ll play a key role in scaling operations across a broader consumer services portfolio, an opportunity to help shape how a growing organization structures itself for the next phase of growth.

Responsibilities
  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of strategic initiatives from definition through execution, including launching and scaling new products and services.
  • Develop strategies grounded in a deep understanding of business goals, constraints, and market dynamics, supported by rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers, providers, and partners to build a strong point of view on what matters in each initiative and use that to inform our strategy and how we prioritize.
  • Partner closely with cross‑functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, Finance, Legal and more, to align on priorities, remove blockers, and move with urgency.
  • Establish and run the operating rhythm of the division, including annual planning cycles, quarterly business reviews, and ongoing goal tracking.
  • Drive group‑wide prioritization and trade‑off decisions, ensuring resources are focused on the highest‑value opportunities.
  • Drive adoption of shared dashboards and reports, maintain visibility into initiative KPIs, and proactively surface insights with clear recommendations.
  • Support leadership team preparation for company and board‑level reviews, ensuring the division presents with clarity and confidence.
  • Serve as a member of the Porch Consumer Services leadership team.
Qualifications
  • 6‑12 years of experience in strategy or business operations, preferably at a high‑growth startup or technology company.
  • Proven track record of leading cross‑functional initiatives from strategy through execution with measurable results, including launching new products or service offerings.
  • Strong bias to action; comfortable operating with ambiguity, moving with urgency, and staying focused on outcomes over process.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to align stakeholders across diverse, cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience building and running internal operating cadences, including business reviews, planning cycles, and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Comfort using AI tools as a genuine accelerator and core part of your work across research, analysis, automation, and communication.
Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range: $138,800 – $194,300 annually.

  • Comprehensive coverage for health, life, and financial wellbeing: three medical plan options, two dental plan options, and a vision plan.
  • Critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident plans offered on a voluntary basis.
  • Pre‑tax savings options including a partially employer‑funded Health Savings Account and employee Flexible Savings Accounts.
  • Company‑paid Basic Life and AD&D, Short and Long‑Term Disability benefits. Voluntary life and AD&D plans are also available.
  • Both traditional and Roth 401(k) plans available with a discretionary employer match.
  • Wellbeing program including on‑demand guided meditation, mindfulness exercises, mental health coaching, and clinical care.
  • Free resource for year‑round discounts on gym memberships, travel, appliances, movies, pet insurance and more.
  • Flexible paid vacation, company‑paid holidays (typically nine per year), paid sick time, paid parental leave, identity theft program, travel assistance, and fitness and other discount programs.
  • Eligible to receive an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
  • Eligible to receive long‑term incentive awards, subject to program guidelines and approvals.
