Senior Manager, Business Intelligence - (CPG)

Job Overview

As a Senior Manager, Business Intelligence, you will lead the development and utilization of data to enable our sales team and broker partners to achieve Category Advisor or Category Captain status with our customers. You will also coordinate Space Planning projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities related to space planning and merchandising for assigned categories and clients.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate team members, ensuring performance against agreements and maintaining scorecards.
• Analyze data to develop strategic recommendations for clients and customers.
• Prepare space management deliverables, including charts, graphs, and planogram layouts.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and develop proposals, acting as their advocate within Acosta.
• Support category management projects, including planogram development, store clustering, and merchandising standards, leveraging automation tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in Retail or CPG industries.
• Knowledge of Space Management solutions and retail data analytics tools (e.g., Blue Yonder/JDA, Nielsen, Circana).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel, for data analysis.
• Experience in data analysis and project management is advantageous.
• Leadership experience managing diverse teams.
• Effective communication skills to manage projects, track progress, and ensure team accountability.
