Job description

This is a remote role with domestic and international travel as needed.

The Clutches & Brakes Division of the Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) Segment is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for: Mobile Power / Off Highway.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for sales of C&B products into the given market, directly and/or indirectly through RRX Commercial Sales organization, including cross-selling from applicable group plants to end users, distributors, contractors, and market-specific OEMs (globally and locally).
  • Collaborate with all designated key C&B personnel to coordinate overall market strategy, including Brand, Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, and Design.
  • Secure customer specifications and preferences for Regal Rexnord's full Clutches & Brakes portfolio in the target market.
  • Drive profitable share gains at key accounts, segments (e.g., steel, aluminum, metal processing), regions (e.g., NA), and with specific portions of the Rexnord portfolio.
  • Coordinate and support share gain activities at top global strategic accounts, identify prospects, and support SAE/AE activities to grow share at new strategic accounts.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations to create standard operating procedures in Salesforce to document and track activities related to share growth.
  • Manage and grow the top account opportunity funnel by leveraging new/differentiated products and previous successes into similar account locations.
  • Assist SAEs/ AEs in monitoring, developing, implementing, and communicating strategic account initiatives to ensure alignment of the End User offering and functions.
  • Develop and support strategic relationships with key decision-makers at high-growth/complex strategic End Users.
  • Partner with RRX field service team to fill capacity and leverage offerings to increase business and product sales.
  • Act as Regal Rexnord's solution expert for Clutches & Brakes strategic accounts, leading value propositions and technical presentations, supporting customer visits, plant tours, webinars, and specification influence activities, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Develop customer value propositions for Clutches & Brakes products using a value-based methodology, deploying them into customer-facing content and sales enablement materials.
  • Provide product technical support to SAEs/AEs, CAMs, and channel partners.
  • Capture Voice of Customer by identifying market problems via engagement and observation, and champion ideas that solve customer problems as part of the NPD process.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education/experience.
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of Rexnord solutions.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40-60%.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $140K - $170K plus variable compensation.

Note: The salary range reflects the company's base pay across all locations in the U.S., dependent on factors such as location, skill set, experience, education, and internal comparisons.
