Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Mobile Power/Off Highway (Remote)
This is a remote role with domestic and international travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for sales of Clutches & Brakes products into the specified market, directly and/or through RRX Commercial Sales organization, including cross-selling to end users, distributors, contractors, and OEMs globally and locally.
- Coordinate with all key Clutches & Brakes personnel to align market strategy, including Brand, Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Engineering, and Design.
- Secure customer specifications and preferences for Regal Rexnord's Clutches & Brakes portfolio in the target market.
- Drive profitable market share gains at key accounts, segments (e.g., steel, aluminum, metal processing), regions (e.g., NA), and with specific portions of the Rexnord portfolio.
- Support share gain activities at top global strategic accounts and identify new prospects, supporting SAE/AE activities to grow share at new strategic accounts.
- Partner with Commercial Operations to establish SOPs in Salesforce for activity documentation and tracking related to share growth.
- Manage and grow the top account opportunity funnel by leveraging new/differentiated products and past successes.
- Assist SAE's/AE's in developing and implementing strategic account initiatives, ensuring alignment of product, placement, promotion, and pricing strategies.
- Develop strategic relationships with key decision makers at high-growth/complex End Users.
- Collaborate with RRX field service team to increase business and product sales.
- Act as Regal Rexnord's solution expert for Clutches & Brakes, leading product presentations, supporting customer visits, webinars, and specification influence activities.
- Develop customer value propositions using a value-based approach, and deploy these into customer-facing content and sales enablement tools.
- Provide technical support to SAE's/AE's, CAMs, and channel partners.
- Capture Voice-of-Customer insights through engagement and observation, advocating for market needs within the NPD process.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Technical aptitude with an understanding of Rexnord's solutions.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40-60%.
- Customer-focused with high expectations and strong communication skills.
- Ability to overcome objections and find win-win solutions.
- Self-starter with a proactive, 'can do' attitude.
- Proficient in Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Kaizen and Lean concepts.
- Knowledge of 80/20 Methodology.
Compensation Details:
$140K - $170K plus variable compensation. Salary depends on factors such as location, skills, experience, and internal comparisons.
