We're looking for an action-oriented, detail-driven problem solver who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, translating business needs into actionable requirements, and guiding stakeholders toward alignment, decisions, and adoption of practical solutions.

This role will partner across clinical, operational, technology, and central services teams to help mature the business analysis function and team while directly supporting high-impact enterprise initiatives.

This is a full-time, contract position with the potential for future conversion to a permanent position, subject to business needs and organizational approval.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the business analysis function for the Portfolio Management team, establishing standards, methodologies, governance, templates, and best practices for requirements management, process documentation, solution design, and business analysis deliverables.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to identify business needs, process gaps, and operational challenges through discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, root-cause analysis, and business process assessments.
  • Lead cross-functional discovery workshops, process mapping sessions, and requirements discussions to build alignment, resolve competing priorities, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Drive process improvement and workflow redesign efforts for strategic initiatives, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead business analysis efforts for complex, cross-functional initiatives by evaluating business processes, systems, data flows, and technology capabilities; defining current and future state processes; and partnering with technical teams to recommend solutions that best meet business needs.
  • Partner closely with architects, developers, product managers, data teams, and technology leaders to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, technically feasible solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Facilitate requirements and solution workshops, documenting business requirements, functional specifications, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria, interface requirements, workflow documentation, and other business analysis artifacts to support successful solution delivery.

  • Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, quantify opportunities, validate business cases, support decision-making, and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
  • Provide project leadership for initiatives tied to business analysis and process improvement work, including managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications for small-to-medium-sized efforts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary liaison between senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams, communicating recommendations, tradeoffs, and implementation considerations clearly to audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality business analysis artifacts, including business cases, current and future state process maps, requirements documentation, user stories, testing strategies, and change management plans.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and delivery teams to define acceptance criteria, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate delivered solutions, and ensure business needs and expected outcomes are achieved.
