Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in product certification including prior hands-on testing experience.
• 3-5 years of team leadership or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply global battery-related regulations and standards (UL/IEC) to certify products.
• Oversee certification efforts and manage third-party testing for components of energy storage systems for global markets.
• Maintain a compliance roadmap aligned with product development and market expansion.
• Delegate testing to engineers to maximize efficiency and timelines.
• Guide engineering on compliance during design and integration.
• Collaborate with quality and supply chain for supplier qualification and compliance.
• Partner with logistics on safe handling and shipping requirements.
• Review design docs for electrical, mechanical, and thermal safety compliance.
• Serve as liaison with certification bodies and regulatory agencies.
