Operation End Starvation is seeking a Senior Manager, Award Performance & Reporting in Washington, DC to oversee a comprehensive view of donor commitments, performance, reporting obligations, and delivery risks.
You will work across programs and functions to establish practical systems for tracking award performance, coordinating donor reports, and ensuring documentation supports decisions and timely action by leadership.
PREFERENCE FOR WASHINGTON, D.C.-BASED CANDIDATES
The Senior Manager, Award Performance & Reporting is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive, cross-award view of OES's donor commitments, performance, reporting obligations, and emerging delivery risks. The role ensures that commitments are clearly documented, progress is tracked, and potential gaps or delays are identified and escalated early enough to support timely corrective action.
Working across countries, programs, and functional teams, the Senior Manager establishes and maintains practical systems for tracking award performance, coordinating donor reporting, and ensuring that programmatic information is accurate, consistent, and supported by appropriate documentation. The role supports effective decision-making by providing timely visibility into award obligations, implementation dependencies, financial performance, and areas requiring leadership attention.
The Senior Manager works closely with Country Portfolio Leads, who retain responsibility for country-level implementation and implementing partner management; the MEL function, which leads performance measurement, data quality, and analysis; Finance, which owns financial reporting and controls; and Contracts, Grants & Compliance, which retains responsibility for formal award administration and compliance oversight.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Global Programs, the Senior Manager plays a critical role in strengthening accountability, coordination, and operational discipline across OES's growing portfolio of institutional and philanthropic awards. The ideal candidate combines strong award management and donor reporting experience with financial literacy, analytical judgment, and the ability to build efficient systems in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment.
