Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of automation and traditional systems within supply chain operations. This role leverages advanced data analysis and project management to drive operational excellence and process optimization. The position requires effective communication across teams to influence strategic decisions and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee conventional and automation projects, ensure compliance with standards, and foster collaboration to achieve business objectives while maintaining a focus on innovation and measurable performance improvements.

About the team

This team leads the development of new capabilities within the grocery supply chain program. It plays a pivotal role in transforming Walmart’s distribution network, driving design, costing and business case development. The team integrates automation, data analysis, and process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Members collaborate across functions to design and implement innovative solutions, supporting the evolution of supply chain operations through strategic project management and technology integration. This work fosters continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the network.

What you’ll do

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
