Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is hiring a Senior Manager, Interfaces & Integration Services to lead design, development, and support of enterprise integration solutions spanning Medicaid, MMIS, and healthcare programs. You will manage a team of analysts, architects, and engineers, coordinating with business, technology, and operations to deliver client projects and grow interfaces capability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in systems integration, interface management, data conversion, or enterprise architecture.
  • 10+ years in Medicaid, MMIS, PBM, healthcare operations, or payer systems domains.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and complex healthcare implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of batch, APIs, EDI, FHIR, HL7, cloud integration, and healthcare data exchange standards.
  • Experience with API design, cloud integration, and enterprise middleware platforms.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale implementation and migration programs.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery large-scale Medicaid, MMIS, Pharmacy Benefit Management, or healthcare technology implementations for enterprise integration and interface solutions.
  • Lead the design, delivery, and ongoing support of client engagements on enterprise integration and interface solutions supporting member, provider, claims, formulary, clinical, eligibility, and financial domains.
  • Oversee development of REST APIs, FHIR integrations, batch interfaces, EDI transactions, file-based exchanges, and real-time integrations.
  • Manage end-to-end integration lifecycle from requirements through deployment and production support. Lead and guide teams through source-to-target mapping, data conversion, reconciliation, and migration activities.
  • Establish integration standards, governance, best practices, and reusable frameworks across programs and improve client services delivery through AI based data compression techniques and automations
  • Drive successful implementation of solutions by coordinating with business, technology, implementation, and client stakeholders.
  • Oversee project planning, resource management, risk mitigation, and delivery execution for interface workstreams.
  • Champion automation, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build and mentor high-performing integration teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, state, and client-specific regulatory requirements.

Summary

The Senior Manager, Interfaces & Integration Services is responsible for leading the design, development, implementation, and operational support of enterprise integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange across internal platforms, clients, state agencies, healthcare partners, and third‑party vendors. This role provides strategic leadership for interface architecture, conversion activities, API integrations, EDI transactions, and cloud‑based data exchange solutions supporting Medicaid, PBM, MMIS, and healthcare programs.

The Senior Manager will oversee a team of interface analysts, architects, and integration engineers while collaborating with business, technology, implementation, and operations teams to ensure successful client project delivery and interfaces capability growth.

Your role in our mission

What we're looking for

The pay range for this position is $122,200.00 - $174,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
