Job summary

Vanscoy Rare Pharmacy seeks a Manager of Application Development to lead design, development, and support of cloud-based pharmacy software and integrations. You will drive SDLC controls, oversee MSP collaborations, and guide AI/ML initiatives within governance and security guidelines.

The role combines hands-on development with strategic leadership across development environments, DevOps pipelines, and cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in data engineering, software development, systems integration, and cloud technologies.
• 3+ years leading technical initiatives and mentoring team members.
• Experience with healthcare, specialty pharmacy, or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support custom software applications, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions for pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop integrations between proprietary systems and external platforms (CareTend, Snowflake, CRM, manufacturing, shipping).
• Lead application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Administer and coordinate development, QA, testing, staging, and production environments; manage deployments and release processes.
• Provide technical leadership to analysts, engineers, and developers; mentor team members in Azure technologies and DevOps practices.
