Job summary

Athenian seeks an Associate Director of Annual and Leadership Giving to lead annual fundraising, build a major gifts pipeline, and steward leadership donors. The role reports to the Director of Advancement and collaborates across the Advancement team, board members, and volunteers to meet ambitious fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5+ years of full-time work experience in advancement/development.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategies to increase participation and giving.
• Manages a portfolio of leadership-level donors with face-to-face, virtual, and event meetings.
• Builds a major gifts donor pipeline through 1:1 meetings.
• Tracks annual giving results and compares to trends.
• Collaborates on the Annual Fund plan and executes it.
• Drafts cases of support for the Annual Fund and Senior Family Gift Campaign.
• Coordinates with Communications to develop donor stories and collateral.
