Job summary

The National Football League (NFL) is seeking a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Operations to lead the CSOC and advance its 24x7 security posture. Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of professional cybersecurity, network engineering, or large-scale IT operations.
• 3–5+ years in a dedicated management or leadership role.
• Hands-on incident response, risk management, security architecture, and SOC optimization.
• Direct supervisory responsibilities of contract employees and/or managed security services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT or similar; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the 24/7/365 CSOC.
• Oversee incident response for high-priority cybersecurity events and post-incident reviews.
• Expand proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence, behavioral analytics, and AI-assisted investigations.
• Define the future state of cybersecurity operations with automation, orchestration, AI, and agentic AI.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, cloud, engineering, risk, and business leaders to define and deliver the future security operations state.
• Lead the SOC of the Future roadmap, including KPIs for operational maturity and automation.
