Job summary

The NFL is seeking a Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Operations to lead the 24x7 CSOC and drive the evolution from reactive alerting to proactive, intelligence-led defense, leveraging automation, orchestration, and agentic AI.

You will direct incident response, threat hunting, and security technology strategy across the enterprise, partnering with IT, risk, and business leaders to improve detection, resilience, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years in cybersecurity, network engineering or large-scale enterprise IT operations.
• 3-5+ years in a dedicated management or leadership role.
• Hands-on incident response, risk management, security architecture, and SOC optimization.
• Direct supervisory responsibilities of contract employees and/or MSSPs.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, or similar is required.
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or MBA with IT/Security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the 24/7/365 CSOC.
• Oversee incident response and post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.
• Expand proactive threat hunting using threat intelligence, analytics, and AI-assisted investigations.
• Define and deliver the future state of cybersecurity operations with elevated automation.
• Collaborate with IT, risk, and business leaders to enhance detection and response capabilities.
• Partner with MSSPs to optimize service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Develop strategic roadmap for AI-enabled SOC and modernization initiatives.
