Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to own an at-scale ML compute platform and set its multi-year technical strategy.

You will lead 3–5 managers and a team of roughly 40–50 engineers, overseeing hardware bring-up, firmware, cluster management and application software. You will partner with silicon/hardware teams (NVIDIA, Annapurna) and AWS ML teams to align roadmaps and deliver capabilities across organizations, measuring success by

Qualifications

10+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years of engineering team management experience.
10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Own an existing at-scale ML compute platform and drive its multi-year technical strategy.
Lead a team of 3–5 managers and ~40–50 engineers, shaping health, velocity and long-term direction.
Collaborate with silicon/hardware partners (Annapurna and NVIDIA) to co-design and bring up platforms and systems.
Work with ML frameworks and AWS service teams to remove ambiguity and align roadmaps.
