Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Senior Manager of Additive Manufacturing Operations to lead and scale the Factory 1 production organization. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development while industrializing new technologies for additive manufacturing.

The role requires building scalable operating systems, leveraging data analytics, and partnering with engineering to deploy automation and continuous improvement practices across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success leading complex manufacturing operations in high-performance environments.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and lead technical teams.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, operational excellence and CI methodologies.
• Experience using manufacturing data and metrics to drive decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead Factory 1 additive manufacturing operations to achieve world-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and equipment reliability.
• Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing team with accountability and urgency.
• Drive daily management through standard work, visual management, and structured problem solving.
• Optimize flow by increasing uptime, removing bottlenecks, and maximizing throughput.
• Collaborate with Platform Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Automation teams to launch new equipment and capabilities.
