Forvis Mazars US is seeking an experienced Accounting Advisory Services leader to guide engagements that strengthen finance and accounting functions. You will manage project teams, provide technical accounting expertise, and drive successful outcomes on complex GAAP and regulatory matters.

The role emphasizes client relationship development, leadership, and collaboration with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities for expanded services. CPA is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years or more of relevant experience.
• Strong proven technical expertise in the areas of financial accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, SEC reporting, M&A, or financial operations.
• CPA License

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a primary point of contact for C-suite and senior client executives, providing strategic guidance, regular project updates, and executive-level presentations.
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities to expand service offerings.
• Develop engagement strategies and lead the execution of complex accounting and finance advisory engagements in collaboration with AAS leadership.
• Perform and review technical accounting research and advise clients on complex GAAP, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support client engagements involving complex transactions, including IPOs, SPACs, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Oversee engagement quality and ensure deliverables meet technical, regulatory, and client expectations.
• Identify and proactively resolve engagement challenges and risks, collaborating with leadership as needed to drive successful outcomes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams by providing coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
• Support business development efforts through proposal development, engagement scoping, pricing, client relationship management, and identifying opportunities for expanded services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years or more of relevant experience
• Strong proven technical expertise in the areas of financial accounting, technical accounting, financial reporting, SEC reporting, M&A, or financial operations
• CPA License
