Job summary

Amgen in North Carolina seeks a Senior Manager Instrumentation and Maintenance to lead the Maintenance and Instrumentation teams, directing 24/7 plant operations and providing technical leadership. You will develop long-term maintenance strategies, ensure cGMP compliance, optimize calibration and preventive programs, and coordinate with engineering, quality, and EHS.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing allocation of resources.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related field; multiple combinations accepted with years of experience.
Experience in maintaining and calibrating complex systems in regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead Maintenance and Instrumentation team supporting 24/7 plant operations.
Develop long-term strategy for technical support for ongoing operations and maintenance of installed systems and equipment.
Oversee calibration programs and preventive maintenance to align with cGMP and safety requirements.
Ensure procedures are in place for cGMP compliance and daily activities across multiple shifts.
