Dfuse Technologies is seeking a Senior Management Analyst – Projects to support Government Project Leads (GPLs) throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating project planning, execution, acquisition, financial management, status reporting, risk management, and closeout activities.
The IC2&IS Division manages a large portfolio of concurrent, customer-driven projects. The solicitation describes projects with typical lifecycles of 6 to 24 months, approximately 60 Government Project Leads, and hundreds of projects supporting DoD and Non-DoD customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level project management and management-analysis support to Government Project Leads and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs).
- Support projects from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, delivery, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, action-item trackers, status reports, decision logs, risk registers, and other project-management artifacts.
- Coordinate activities among engineering, acquisition, contracting, financial, logistics, technical, and administrative stakeholders.
- Track project scope, schedule, cost, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Identify schedule conflicts, resource constraints, funding concerns, acquisition delays, and other conditions that may affect project execution.
- Analyze project performance and provide GPLs and Division leadership with timely status information and recommendations.
- Support planning for Government and contractor resources required to execute assigned projects.
- Coordinate project acquisition activities involving required hardware, software, services, and other project resources.
- Track acquisition actions and supporting documentation through completion and project closeout.
- Support project financial management by monitoring allocations, commitments, obligations, expenditures, and funding requirements.
- Maintain visibility into project funding status and identify potential funding shortfalls, execution variances, or emerging requirements.
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, briefing materials, meeting packages, and executive summaries for Government leadership and stakeholders.
- Facilitate project and IPT meetings, document decisions and action items, assign or track responsible parties, and follow actions through closure.
- Maintain project records and knowledge-management repositories to preserve current and accurate project information.
- Support technical and financial project closeout, including verification of outstanding actions, deliverables, acquisition activities, and financial requirements.
- Coordinate lessons learned and ensure relevant project information is retained for future projects.
- Support portfolio-level planning and prioritization where multiple projects compete for shared resources.
The position operates in a rapid, multi-project environment in which GPLs lead diverse IPT stakeholders supporting multiple DoD and Non-DoD customers.
