The Senior Management Analyst will coordinate recurring and ad hoc reporting, support Procurement Department communications and business activities, and help document and improve acquisition processes, procedures, instructions, repositories, and standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will combine acquisition knowledge with strong quantitative, qualitative, writing, presentation, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Task 4 communications, reporting, and organizational-support activities for the PBGC Procurement Department.
  • Collect, validate, track, maintain, analyze, and update acquisition, workload, forecast, performance, and organizational data.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, briefing charts, technical and status reports, executive summaries, inquiry responses, and informational materials.
  • Develop high-level acquisition briefings based on identified issues and present procurement metrics, forecast data, risks, trends, special projects, and operational activities.

  • Support surge reporting and communications requirements resulting from end-of-fiscal-year activities, leadership priorities, protests, executive orders, or other urgent needs.
  • Maintain appropriate contractor identification and non-inherently governmental boundaries in all communications and work products.
Qualifications

  • Experience: At least eight years of federal management analysis, acquisition reporting, program analysis, communications, organizational support, or related experience, including senior-level responsibility for executive deliverables.
  • Working knowledge of federal acquisition concepts, methods, lifecycle activities, terminology, and reporting requirements.

  • Excellent written and oral communication, organization, recordkeeping, customer-service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a demanding and evolving environment, rapidly implement Government direction, and maintain professional and ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Adobe tools; and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Knowledge of contractor support boundaries and the ability to avoid performing or appearing to perform inherently governmental functions.
