An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within a high-growth FMCG company in Manchester.

This role offers the chance to make a real impact, building financial capability and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering robust reporting, improving processes, and preparing the business for future transactions.

Senior Management Accountant (D365 Business Central) / Manchester - Hybrid / 50k-55k DOE / High-Growth FMCG Business

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Management Accountant to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within a high-growth FMCG company in Manchester.

This role offers the chance to make a real impact, building financial capability and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering robust reporting, improving processes, and preparing the business for future transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the Accounts Payable function, including processing, reconciliations, and supplier relationships.

• Maintain and analyse the Amazon Vendor Ledger, delivering clear, actionable insights.

• Assist with cash flow forecasting, VAT returns, and cost accruals.

• Act as a 'super user' of Business Central, supporting ERP development across departments.

• Prepare P&L, day 3 flash reports, and manage monthly payroll.

• Support improvements in internal controls, audit readiness, and supplier credit terms.

• Mentor junior finance team members, and support the development of credit control strategies.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 2+ years PQE.

• Experience in a fast-paced SME or high-growth environment, ideally within FMCG

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and controls.

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work at pace.

• Proficiency with Business Central and Power BI is highly desirable.

• A willingness to work on-site in the Manchester area 3 days a week / 2 days from home
