Providence Facey Medical Foundation is seeking a Mammography Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic mammography under the direction of a Radiologist. The role requires independent judgment, with initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
Qualified candidates will have California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification, National Registered Technologist - Mammography, BLS within 30 days, and 2 years of clinical/hospital experience including 1 year
Qualifications
- Certification and licensure requirements must be met at hire.
- California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification required at hire.
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography required at hire.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, perform mammographic procedures at a technical level with some independent judgment.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
