Job summary

Providence is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform mammographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The role requires independent judgment and adherence to prescribed radiation safety standards.

Candidates should have California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification, National Registered Technologist - Mammography, and BLS within 30 days of hire, plus 2 years in a clinical setting and 1 year in Mammography.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensure required at hire.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification required at hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Mammography required at hire.
• BLS from American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical or hospital experience.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical mammography experience.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs mammographic procedures with a level of independence.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
• Maintains quality and safety standards in imaging services.
