Job summary

MercyOne, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Mammographer Tech III to perform mammography procedures on scheduled shifts. You will provide direct patient care across age groups and educate patients and families.

You will supervise and evaluate student technologists, maintain strong teamwork with staff and physicians, and participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives within the imaging department.

Qualifications

• Accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program completed.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) and Registered Mammography Technologist (M) current.
• Maintain ARRT registry status.
• Maintain Iowa Permit to Practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures on scheduled shifts.
• Provide care to neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Instruct, supervise, and evaluate student technologists.
• Maintain open communication with staff and physicians.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families.
