Job summary

Mercy One is seeking a Mammography Tech III to perform mammography procedures, operate equipment, and provide patient care across neonate to geriatric populations on a per diem basis. The role includes teaching student technologists and maintaining strong team communication.

Candidates should have completed a two-year Radiologic Technology program with ARRT credentials in radiography and mammography, plus current BLS certification. Per diem weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Active ARRT registry (Radiography) and Mammography credential.
• Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers current or obtained within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures on scheduled shifts.
• Operate mammography equipment.
• Provide patient education and counseling across age groups.
• Instruct, supervise, and evaluate student technologists.
• Maintain open communication with staff and physicians.
