Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior malware reverse engineer to lead advanced static and dynamic analysis across Windows and Linux, reverse engineer complex and obfuscated binaries, and unpack samples to reveal behavior, infrastructure, and adversary tradecraft.

You will translate findings into high-fidelity detections, support incident response during critical events, mentor analysts, and deliver concise risk-based briefings to leadership, while guiding the team toward technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of malware reverse engineering or related cyber analysis roles.
• 8+ years static and dynamic malware analysis across Windows and Linux.
• 3+ years with debugging and binary analysis tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, x64dbg).
• Experience developing tooling in C/C++ and Python to support analysis.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer complex malware to uncover behavior and C2 patterns.
• Translate findings into high-fidelity detection logic for SOC use cases.
• Support incident response during critical events and ransomware scenarios.
• Provide technical mentorship to senior analysts and ensure rigorous outputs.
• Lead validation of analytic products before dissemination.
