AnaVation seeks a talented Malware Reverse Engineer to support National Security missions. You will analyze malware, reverse-engineer executables, and prepare detailed reports to inform intelligence efforts.

This full-time, on-site role is based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, requiring US Citizenship and a valid clearance. Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts and engineers to sustain mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of reverse engineering experience.
• Four years of experience with C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with machine architecture and OS internals.
• Proficiency in static and dynamic reverse engineering techniques.
• Familiarity with ATT&CK, IOCs, CVEs, and threat intel sharing.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface, dynamic, static, and automated analysis on malware.
• Reverse-engineer compiled code to understand behavior and interactions.
• Analyze malware capabilities and threat potential.
• Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on hardware/software environments for analysis.
