Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites an experienced Senior Specialist, Major Projects - Construction Project Management Support to drive analytical functions for development and execution of electric utility transmission and substation construction projects.

You will support Project Managers coordinating licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction to move projects from planning through closeout.

Qualifications

Five or more years of Project Support experience.
PM certifications (PMP/CAPM) preferred.
Experience supporting full project lifecycle of large capital utility construction projects.

Responsibilities

Supports pre-construction and construction planning by guiding action items and supervising team adherence.
Collaborates with multi-disciplinary project teams often over 30 members.
Assists with progress reports, schedules, budgets, and status updates to leadership.
Establishes project procedures to ensure policy compliance.
Uses Microsoft Project to maintain complex schedules.
Develops project documentation and prepares presentations for management and executive committees.
Manages select project activities, change management processes, and control of drawings and safety plans.
Protects company data and adheres to security and confidentiality standards.
