Job summary

Experis is seeking a Major Incident Manager to join our client’s Operations team in Texas. You will lead real-time incident management for critical services, coordinate across teams, and drive rapid resolution while minimizing operational impact.

The ideal candidate has hands-on incident and problem management experience, strong stakeholder communication, and familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Remote work within North America may be possible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Incident Management and Problem Management operations.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and bridge handling skills.
• Experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow.
• Basic understanding of Cloud Architecture, Kubernetes, VMware, Linux, and networking concepts.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead real-time incident management for critical services, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on operations.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts during major incidents, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
• Manage incident bridges, providing clear updates and structured resolution pathways.
• Perform initial technical triage utilizing knowledge of virtualization, cloud, Kubernetes, VMware, Linux, and networking.
• Drive root cause analysis and ensure follow-up actions are tracked and completed to prevent recurrence.
