American Cancer Society in San Francisco, CA seeks a Major Gifts Officer to develop and manage a major gifts portfolio, identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding relationships with volunteers, board members, corporate leaders, foundations and donors capable of giving $10k+.

The role targets six-figure commitments, maintains a healthy pipeline, travels for donor meetings, and works with teams to secure substantial annual revenue; starting pay ranges from $120,000 to $135,000 with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in major gifts or fundraising.
Proven track record securing six- to eight-figure gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations.

Responsabilités

Develops and executes donor strategies to secure six-figure and above commitments.
Builds and manages relationships with high-impact donors and prospects.
Represents ACS and articulates mission through proposals, presentations, and solicitations.
Qualifies and advances donors with disciplined moves management and a strong pipeline.
Collaborates across teams to connect donors with giving opportunities and leadership roles.
Maintains accountability for portfolio performance, goals, and reporting.
