Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking a Director of Development for Southern California. This remote role focuses on leading a major gifts program, cultivating donors, and partnering with leaders to secure leadership gifts across the region.

You will manage a portfolio of high-potential donors, work moves management, and coordinate events with board members and program teams. The position offers a sign-on bonus and annual compensation in the stated range.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years fundraising experience with donor gifts.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and donor engagement.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Confidentiality and ethical fundraising standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement a major gifts program across Southern California.
• Develop compelling cases for support to inspire leadership giving.
• Manage donor portfolios and moves management processes.
• Plan donor cultivation events and regional activities.
