As a Major Account Solution Architect (MASA) at Qualys, you will serve as a technical and strategic partner to some of our most complex and high-profile customers. You'll play a crucial role in helping organizations operationalize and scale the Qualys Cloud Platform across hybrid and cloud-native environments, guiding key security initiatives from strategy to execution.
This role goes beyond basic technical support-you'll lead architectural discussions, drive platform adoption, champion best practices, and act as the technical face of Qualys for your assigned accounts.
Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary post-sales technical advisor for a portfolio of large enterprise customers (typically Fortune 1000)
Develop deep familiarity with customer environments and business goals, and align Qualys capabilities accordingly
Lead the implementation and expansion of core platform solutions like VMDR, CSAM, PC, WAS, TotalCloud, and ETM
Guide integration with critical enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and CMDBs
Drive customer maturity by advising on tagging strategy, dynamic asset grouping, scan scheduling, reporting, and dashboarding
Support Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), product evaluations, and rollout plans for new Qualys modules
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, engineering, support) to resolve challenges and drive customer satisfaction
Provide regular executive-level reviews, security health assessments, and roadmap sessions
Act as a trusted advocate for customer needs within Qualys, influencing roadmap and feature prioritization
Track engagement and technical progress in Salesforce, and ensure alignment with success KPIs and expansion goals
5-7+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or technical customer-facing roles (TAM, SA, CSE) within enterprise security SaaS, ideally at Qualys or a similar platform vendor
Strong hands-on familiarity with the Qualys Cloud Platform, especially in areas such as:
Asset Inventory & CMDB Sync (CSAM)
Vulnerability Management & Risk-Based Prioritization (VMDR)
Policy Compliance & Audit Frameworks (PC)
Web Application Security (WAS/WAF)
Cloud Agent deployment at scale
Sensor architecture and network scanner placement
Experience designing end-to-end security solutions and integrations in complex, hybrid enterprise environments
Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and container security (Kubernetes/Docker)
Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS Controls, FedRAMP, or PCI-DSS
Excellent communicator-capable of building trust with both security practitioners and senior decision-makers
Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
Prior experience with tools like Salesforce, Gong, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Jira)
Former experience at Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, CrowdStrike, or Palo Alto
Background in vulnerability lifecycle management, including remediation programs or risk scoring
Certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, AWS Solutions Architect, or Qualys Certified Specialist
Prior experience deploying or managing security tools in a DevSecOps pipeline
Own the technical relationship for strategic customers driving global cyber risk initiatives
Represent a platform with unmatched depth and breadth-Qualys agents, sensors, and modules cover more surface area than any other vendor
Collaborate with a team that blends deep domain knowledge and innovation across vulnerability management, asset intelligence, and AI-driven security

Annual Salary Guidelines: $190,000 - $235,000 [OTE]
