Job summary

Air Force Materiel Command in Texas is seeking a MAJCOM Executive Advisor for Services to provide strategic oversight, policy interpretation, and program direction for the Services program across the command.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight and direction on Services' program; plans, formulates, interprets, and implements policies and procedures to provide mission-impacting quality of life services.
• Maintains a continuous liaison with other MAJCOMs, HQ USAF, and subordinate installations. Works with functional counterparts at HQ USAF in response to legislative directions, funding issues, policy changes, and the impact of these changes.
• Prepares and presents high level briefings of conclusions, often subjective and not readily verifiable until operational situations are encountered.
• Analyzes current projected financial condition of bases throughout the command and evaluates their capability to meet the Services' mission.
