Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in electronics/maintenance or 2-year degree with 10+ years in maintenance role.
• Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity or electronics.
• Advanced knowledge of TPM practices.
• Advanced PLC experience including Allen Bradley RSLogix and other software used to control production equipment.
• Advanced CMMS knowledge.
• Lockout/tagout program knowledge.
• Boiler operations knowledge.
• Experience with ammonia/freon or other cooling media.
• Welding to sanitary standards (stick and TIG).
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (drive systems, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems (wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, motors, drives).
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Perform building maintenance (AC, lights, forklifts).
• Lead maintenance projects including machine rebuilds and new equipment installs.
• Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel.
• Comply with food safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Train, coach and mentor others as needed.
