Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with DC drives and electric motors.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance processes with production.
• Respond to calls from production and management.

Skills

Read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics

Mentor and train Technicians 1 and 2

In-depth knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Understand relay logic

Perform major electrical repairs

Familiarity with the National Electrical Code

Design and implement equipment improvements

Troubleshoot PLC systems to component level

Download or upload PLC programs

Change and program drives and HMIs

Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley and Omron programs

Select replacement parts for obsolete components

Make changes to programs when needed

Perform PMs on all equipment

Write PMs

Lead, critique, and improve Kaizens

Champion and guide 6s projects

Identify safety hazards

Apply good judgment and strong work ethics

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associates degree in electrical or mechanical field
