Job summary

Liberty Military Housing is seeking a skilled Service Technician III to perform general and specialized maintenance in a multifamily community. You’ll diagnose and repair building systems, operate related equipment, and may lead maintenance staff in the absence of management.

The role requires strong communication, a broad trades background (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting), and the ability to respond to on-call requests.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ related maintenance experience preferred.
• Intermediate level understanding and experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpet care, appliance repair.
• Certifications preferred HVAC and EPA.
• Some supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and lift up to 65 lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, installation, repairs on building systems and appliances.
• Troubleshoots items across trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Trains or guides other maintenance staff and may lead in manager’s absence.
• Responds to on-call service requests and emergency calls.
• Completes work within assigned timeframes and adheres to safety standards.
• Documents service requests and uses mobile tools for updates.
• Travels to different locations for work, training, or meetings.
