Job summary

Foshee Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support one of our apartment home communities in Montgomery, AL 36117. This full-time position involves hands-on repairs, preventive maintenance, and timely service requests to keep the community operating smoothly.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and routine building systems tasks, while ensuring safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• EPA 608 Type I and II certification required.
• C.P.O. certification required.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems installation; troubleshooting and repairs.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
• HVAC systems installation and repairs: compressors, condensers and air handlers.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances and building systems.
• Roof and gutter repair.
• Sidewalk repair.
• Irrigation maintenance and repair.
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow OSHA and safety regulations.
• Provide strong customer service when interacting with community members.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and additional tasks as needed.
