Job summary

The Property Management Company in Hastings, NE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold our facilities, grounds, and equipment. You will perform daily inspections, repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, and coordinate safety reporting and repairs as needed.

Requirements include at least three years of maintenance experience, knowledge of basic maintenance tasks, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and valid driver’s license; HVAC knowledge is a plus. Computer literacy is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of maintenance technician experience.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
• Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements and mechanical systems.
• Immediately report health, safety, and hazardous situations to management.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and procure them when necessary.
• Utilize skills in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more for maintenance and preventative measures.
