Job summary

Anika Therapeutics seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician for our Bedford, MA site. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GMP facility systems and manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot complex systems, and support new equipment installations.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to keep operations compliant and productive. You will be on-site, with weekend walkthroughs and an on-call rotation for emergencies, while ensuring safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a cGMP environment or equivalent regulated manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
• Technical proficiency across multiple maintenance disciplines and facility systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize work, and achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document preventive and corrective maintenance on GMP facility systems, utilities, manufacturing equipment, and process equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot facility utility systems including HVAC-R, steam boilers, cold rooms, compressed air and gas systems, RO and WFI, wastewater, clean steam, and process/chilled water systems.
• Perform maintenance on manufacturing and process equipment such as bioreactors, filling machines, chromatography columns, autoclaves, glass washers, and packaging equipment.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls and maintain safety, quality, regulatory, environmental compliance.
• Support design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of new facility equipment and systems.
