Job summary

Dole Packaged Foods – McDonough Operations is hiring a Maintenance Technician III to support preventative and corrective maintenance of industrial equipment in a large frozen fruit processing facility. The role requires versatility across electrical and mechanical systems on first or second shift, with weekend availability as needed.

Under minimal supervision, you will diagnose failures, perform repairs, install wiring, and help ensure safety programs are followed.

Qualifications

• Advanced principles and practices for installation, maintenance and repair of industrial electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout, safety regulations and proper use of diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read basic drawings and perform basic shop mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform advanced maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial motors, pumps and engines.
• Perform electrical repairs to motors and drives; apply lockout/tagout procedures.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, circuits and fixtures.
• Review work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Design and fabricate metal brackets and supports as needed.
