Job summary

Real Property Management Viking in the Twin Cities area is seeking a Level I Maintenance Technician to handle repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance systems, and perform turnover maintenance to keep properties in prime condition. This role features no nights or weekend work with flexible hours (4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days).

You’ll drive a company van, receive a tool allowance, and enjoy benefits such as healthcare and a 401k while contributing to resident

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with residential maintenance trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing or HVAC).
• Able to explain technical details to residents and team members.
• Reliable, punctual and honest.
• Comfort using a smartphone for work orders and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Conduct turnover maintenance, property inspections and repairs to keep properties in top condition.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in household systems and appliances.
• Interact with residents professionally and maintain a positive demeanor.
• Log work orders, track progress and report findings electronically.
