Job summary

Staples Supply Chain is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 to perform preventive and on-demand maintenance on electrical motors and material handling equipment within a fast-paced Fulfillment Center.

You will troubleshoot electrical and control systems, read blueprints, and maintain conveyors, lifts, and related equipment across shifts. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of related experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime hours may be required due to business needs.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more.
• Lift/push/pull 70–100 lbs by hand.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Trade school background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and on-demand maintenance on electrical motors, material handling equipment, and conveyor systems.
• Maintain building and conveyor systems, light plumbing, carpentry, painting and related tasks.
• Assist supervisor and relay directions to other technicians and assistants.
• Ensure safe work practices and uphold safety culture across shifts.
