Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.
• Master license in one trade or Journeyman Electrical/Plumber license or EPA certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in decisions on repairs; report major problems to supervisor.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Service HVAC and building systems; read and transmit instructions.
• Lead a group of workers on a project and maintain logs/work orders.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the facility team.
